9 Tips for Infant Swim Lessons

  1. All infant swim lessons should be fun
  2. Do not submerge a child without first conditioning
  3. Do not submerge a crying baby
  4. Build independence by teaching gripping
  5. Vestibular stimulation is great for baby
  6. Back floating is excellent for safety
  7. Maintain eye contact
  8. Be knowledgeable, communicate, have fun and practice!
  9. Interaction builds social-emotional and intellectual capabilities
